DAY 1: CORINTH (ISTHMOS-ANCIENT CORINTH-WINERY)

Starting from Athens and making a small stop at the Corinth Canal, we will admire this construction dream, that connects the big island of Peloponnese with mainland Greece. Our first stop is the Corinthia, the first statwe of Peloponnese and in particular we visit Ancient Corinth. The archaeological site of Ancient Corinth is located at the northern foot of the Acrocorinth hill, around the ancient temple of Apollo, the theater, the Roman Odeon, the shrine of Asklepios and healthy (Asklepion), cemeteries, pottery workshops (Kerameikos), walls and various other structures. Then we will move to a winery, famous for its vineyards and excellent wine, to learn the process of making wine and to taste various local wine varieties. Transfer to the firts capital of modern Greece, the picturesque by the sea city of Nafplio, where you can walk around the traditional small roads of the city or go swimming at the near beaches. DAY 2: ARGOLIDA (MYCENAE-EPIDAURUS)

Today the day is dedicated to Argolida and in particular to two of the most famous monuments of World Heritage of UNESCO, Mycenae and Epidaurus. Admire the “Rich Mycenae,” the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, first sung by Homer in his epics, is the most important and richest palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece. Then we head to one of the major clinics in ancient Greece, where cured many serious diseases of the time, Epidaurus. There lies one of the most important and well-preserved theater of antiquity, the ancient theater of Epidaurus. After the tour we head to Tripolis, the center of Peloponnese, which is a non touristic and authentic city. Time for walk around the beutiful alleys and the big squares, where you will find nice small tavernas with traditional greek food. Overnight Tripoli.

DAY 3: ARCADIA (DIMITSANA-ZATOUNA-HIKING LOUSIOS-ELLINIKO)

The third day is dedicated to Arcadia and the beautiful mountainous villages. The day includes the best view of Dimitsana village and the pass from Zatouna village and after hiking along the banks of Lucius river, where you will enjoy the tranquility of nature and will visit the monastery of Saint Prodromos literally perched on the mountain and monastery Philosofos with its hidden school. After the hike, and after enjoying a picnic by the river we will take the road back to Tripolis, passing by the traditional village of Elliniko and other small villages. Overnight Tripoli.

DAY 4: LACONIA (MYSTRAS-KALAMATA)

The current day we will take you in Laconia and particularly the most important castle of the Byzantine era, Mystras and the heroic city of antiquity, Sparta. The space, the natural fortress and strategic hill Byzantine Myzithras north Taygetos, consists of a medieval castle and fortified village, closed inside the walls of monasteries, churches, chapels, houses and palaces, in a straight path from mid 13th century up to 1953. We will also see the statue of the famous Leonidas stands to the edge of town. Then we’ll get to Kalamata, one of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities in the Peloponnese, where you will have time to swim in the sea or walk around the city. Overnight Kalamata.

DAY 5:MESSINIS (METHONI-PYLOS-VOIDOKILIA)

Today the day is dedicated to the sun and the sea, we will wander in Messinia famed for its beautiful beaches and seaside villages. We visit Methoni with its imposing castle and Pylos with its picturesque alleys. Our Stop for swimming will be at Voidokilia, that has often taken the top spot as the best beach in the world where you will have time to relax and enjoy the sun and sea. Overnight Kalamata

DAY 6: MESSINIA-LACONIA (DIROS CAVES-NEAPOLI)

We could not leave out of our Peloponnesian tour,a separate part of the Peloponnese which seems not to belong to any state, Mani. Starting from Kalamata we will reach the caves of Diros, which is marked as the most beautiful lake cave in the world. Glowing white stalactites and stalagmites, impressive curtains and glittering crystals adorn each corner, creating an unparalleled spectacle of breathtaking! We will also visit the traditional settlement of Neapoli where you will have time to wonder between the stonebuilt houses. Overnight Kalamata.

DAY 7: ILIA (ANCIENT OLYMPIA)

Today you live like ancient Greek athletes, at the area that gave birth to the Olympic Games. First we will visit the museum of Ancient Olympia, one of the most important in Greece, showing the long history of the most celebrated sanctuary of antiquity, which was dedicated to the father of gods and men, Zeus, and was the birthplace of the Olympic Games. Includes the permanent exhibition of findings from excavations in the sacred area of the Altis, dating from prehistoric times to the early Christian times, the most important of the Praxiteles Hermes. Then we will move to the archaeological site of Olympia, where wandering in space will certainly feel like ancient athletes. The archaeological site of Olympia includes the sanctuary of Zeus, with temples and buildings related to the cult, and various buildings that had been built around it, such as sports facilities used for the preparation and holding of the Olympic Games, auxiliary buildings, utilitarian and administrative and secular buildings. After our visit to the birthplace of Olympic Games, we take the road back to Athens where ends our Peloponnese tour with the most unique memories.
